Who says a Garden Wedding has to be feminine and frilly? Cincy Wedding by Maura and her team of talented vendors demonstrate just how fantastic adding an alternative twist can look. From the bride's dark lips and tattoos to the vintage bar cart and furniture, this garden wedding is anything but ordinary.
The bride's bouquet is seriously stare-worthy. Linger Flowers did such a beautiful job using different colors and textures to get the perfect vibes, and add so much color to the session. Ben Elsass Photography was behind the camera for this garden wedding and the inspiration was captured beautifully.
From Cincy Weddings By Maura… Myself (wedding coordinator) teamed up with Queen City Vignette (vintage rentals and design company) and Ben Elsass Photography to create a styled shoot at the beautiful French House mansion and it's surrounding gardens and fields. Myself and QCV are newer in the industry and Ben has recently moved his photography business from Chicago to Cincinnati so it was important to us to showcase some amazing up and comers in the Cincinnati wedding community.
When designing the shoot, we really wanted to keep it somewhat girly but with a flare. In order to accomplish this, we brought in darker colors, a tattooed model, and some funky jewelry. The day of the shoot was a BLAST – vendors stayed all day to participate which was a lot of fun. The talent that surrounded me that day was unbelievable. I can't wait to see all of these businesses grow and flourish!
